The retro nature of this is a delight to listen to. The way the track progresses is pretty impressive. The track could be mastered louder, but still an enjoyable listen.

LisandroMakesMusic responds:

Glad you enjoyed it :D
Yes i know about it being louder. i didn't make it louder is because sometimes chiptune may hurt people's ears and i am aware of it. thanks for the comment though :D

The instrumentation sounds laidback and calm. the drums have a hip-hop feel to them that's admirable. Synths are on point as well. Mix could be improved, but this does sound lively.

MarkRuff21 responds:

Thank you! Like i said in the description, this song is kinda old, and it was actually one of my first attempts at a full length song back in January. I appreciate your criticism, and i’m glad you enjoyed it :)

The piano melody at the beginning sounds chill and mystical. When the synths pop in it gives the track an outer world feel. Nice ambient tune.

OVERSCORE responds:

Tysm!

The synth instrumentation sounds interesting with how ambient it feels. The way the track progresses is nice with how different elements get introduced once in a while. A bit long, but the mellowness and distinct feeling is nice.

CIEIRMusic responds:

Oh ya. With me though the guitar ties it all together.

The instrumentation is lush and rich. The string arrangements alone sounds smooth and distinct. A decent valentine's tune.

ZaazNG responds:

Thank you so much! Glad you liked it! :)

Some interesting sounds here with how the piano melody is laid out. The drum sounds themselves natural and smooth. The piano bit at the end is soft and melancholic. Mix could be better, but this track sounds nice.

ALWYNMAKESMUSIC responds:

thanks! mixing is def my biggest thing I need to work on I will for sure work on that!

The synths have an interesting melody to them that feels horror like. The retro feel is also quite admirable. Even though idunno what to think of this it does sound like something nice.

kadepow11 responds:

Well, I'm going to say that hopefully this is an improvement and I will eventually get all of the rust off and relearn how to compose soon!! :D

The ambient nature of this gives it a distinct sound. I love how it progresses with something being introduced every section it feels like. A nice tune, overall.

RhoydQuaid responds:

Thank you, I am glad you found it progressive. This was one track that didn't just fall together cleanly, it took a lot of effort to get it all working together. I started with an ambient spread of samples and pads that evolved into a more energetic piece as I went along. Your feedback is much appreciated after hours of tunnel vision muddling through the process r:
